Another Brown Sugar drama from the Taiwan Young Idol Groups: Lollipop (棒棒堂) and Hey Girl (黑涩会美媚). Surprisingly, I find this drama very entertaining. Unlike the previous Brown Sugar Macchiato (黑糖瑪奇朵), which I lost interest half-way through the first episode. The feeling I got when watching The Legend of Brown Sugar Chivalries is like playing the PC RPG game of The Heroes of Jin Yong (金庸群侠传) during my high school. As a fan of Jin Yong's novels, which I have read most of them, it is fun to see the main characters of different Jin Yong's novels actually get together and create new stories. And of course, this time we have characters from Gu Long's (古龙) novels as well.

*~Wang Zi (王子) as Ling Hu Cong (令狐聪)~*

Ling Hu Cong is the top student of West Town High School (西城学院), which teaches martial arts. He grew up with his teacher's daughter Lu Jian Ning (陆见宁), and they were like a small couple together. Until he met Ren Ying Ying (任莹莹), who was from the evil clan.

My favourite Jin Yong's character - 郭靖

Guo Jing is very honest, kind-hearted and hard-working. His weakness is his slow learning, he needs a lot of effort and practice. His companion to Lu Jian Ning when she is blue, slowly opens up her heart towards him.

*~Xiao Yu (小煜) as Chu Liu Xiang (楚琉湘)~*
This character is from Gu Long's 楚留香

Transfer student from the North Town High School (北城学院), Chu Liu Xiang has a lot of fans due to his good looks. But he had his eyes on Ren Ying Ying. Well known for his Qing Gong (轻功) flying around.

*~Xiao Man (小蛮) as Xiao Long Nu (小聋女)~*
Her name translates to Little Deaf Gal...the original name was Little Dragon Gal 小龙女...

Xiao Long Nu is a transfer student from East Town High School (东城学院). With her powerful Lion's Roar (狮子吼) skill, she deafens her enemies, sadly including herself. Luckily she is able to get a good ear aid kit from Wei Xiao Bao.

The actual character in Jin Yong's novel - 韦小宝 has 7 wives...@@

Wei Xiao Bao is transferred from South Town High School (南城学院). He is the top businessman with his excellent persuasion skill and his passion to earn more money. As the editor of the interschool magazine, he is good at gathering info as well. His specialty is his swift movement for luring enemies, and for escaping as well. XD

*~Xiao Ma (小马) as Yi He Cang Tai (伊贺苍太)~*
Ninja

Yi He Cang Tai is a kia-su guy, who always wanna duel others to proof his strength. He is jealous of the other transfer students, and those who are chosen by the principal for the 7-person formation.
