i do? 幸福的抉择

Everyday as the sun rises, Summer will pray for 'him': "May God grant him strong vitality. At every sun rise, give him all the good and beautiful things, so he can be safe and happy."

Summer lives with a cute girl named Si Yu (思雨), who works as a DJ at a Taipei radio station. Si Yu's program spans from 12am - 2am, whereby she helps to solve love problems from those who call-in during her program.

Joan is the photographer of Summer's shop and also her house mate. He is in love with Summer, and has refused to migrate with his family a year ago to pursue her love. But Summer has never return his feeling. She only treats him as her best buddy, as she already has someone in her heart since the incident 5 years ago...

Joan and Summer stopped by a bakery shop to collect their bakery.

Flashing back 5 years ago, for some reasons Summer fell down from the roof top of a building and was rescued by a mysterious guy. She is waiting for him since then, and she still keeps his watch, wearing it everyday.

The hands that saved Summer's life

Jian Mei Li (简美莉) is Summer's long-time best friend since high school. Mei Li comes from a wealthy family who owns the Guang Da Departmental Stores (光大百货). Despite her beauty, she is snobbish and arrogant. However, she offered to lend money to Summer to pay her father's debt when his business was in trouble 5 years ago. But Summer rejected her kindness. After 5 years, Mei Li came to find Summer to become her bridesmaid as she is getting married.

Joan got a job as a photographer at the prestigious Wedding Cottage (婚纱庄园) at Taipei. So he resigned from Summer's shop and asked her to come along for an interview at the Wedding Cottage. The Wedding Cottage, with around 100 employees and 8 photographers, consists of the wedding gown section, florist section, accessories section, a church, reception chamber and bar.

The Wedding Cottage (婚纱庄园)

The Wedding Cottage is owned by Ren Ling Ling (任玲玲) who is also the interviewer. She rejected most of the candidates who were recommended by someone from some department of the Wedding Cottage. Summer's philosophy of the wedding gown made her decided to choose this beautiful and confident lady with no background.

Maggie Siu (邵美琪) as Ren Ling Ling (任玲玲)

Summer:"...because I think beautiful wedding gown does not belong only to the rich. Wedding gown is different from fashion. Fashion follows trend and can be replaced. People can own thousands and hundreds of fashion, but we only need one wedding gown to walk the path of marriage with the one we love. This is the greatest happiness of woman..."

Mei Li at the Wedding Cottage trying out her wedding gown

Mei Li's fiance, Li Hao Zhe (李浩哲), stomped into the Wedding Cottage, accusing her of spreading rumors about them getting married, which is not true at all. He declared that he already has a person he loves.

The possessive Mei Li: "I don't care. I must marry you once this lifetime. Even if we have to divorce straight away."

Seeing this whole scene, Summer was stunned. The ignorant Mei Li introduced her to Li Hao Zhe. He too was surprised to meet her there and then, with his watch on her wrist. Summer was then led away to meet Ren Ling Ling regarding her employment; while Li Hao Zhe was dragged away by Mei Li.

Great story synopsis. you made me watch to watch this series. BTW, the images were very effective, if not a bit too telling.
