I read an interview of Lin Yu Zhong by the China media, about his intuition when writing this song.

Lin Yu Zhong:

I got the intuition one day when a fly got into my room. Normally, as my room is high from ground, flies won't be able to get in easily. I thought, "This fly is cool, came by using the lift".

Sometimes I think about people who are not welcomed, just like flies. For example, guys around pretty lady, these guys will feel sad as they like the girl, but they are being described as flies. They will think, if they are really that lousy. I want to encourage these "flies", not to be sad, you'll find someone who likes you one day.

In the lyrics, I mentioned "Wearing spectacles of the fly". Fly has compound eyes, which are different from human, so when fly sees thing there are thousands or millions of images. When you see someone you like but she doesn't like you, you'll feel difficult to understand her. So, there'll be thousands of illusions, and the fly will eventually cries and thousands of tears will drop.
